European Business Development Manager for Forming Fluids (m/f/d)

Master Fluid Solutions, based in Perrysburg, Ohio, has been a well-known manufacturer of specialty lubricants for over 70 years. As an international family owned business, we are represented not only in the USA but also in Europe, UK, China, India, Vietnam and Thailand. With our renowned brands, TRIM and WEDOLiT, we have a comprehensive product portfolio for a wide variety of applications in a wide variety of industries, such as aviation, automotive, energy, metal processing, tube manufacturing and oil and gas.

We are looking for someone to strengthen our european team as a European Business Development Manager for Forming Fluids (m/f/d), with homebase in Germany.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business/new customer opportunities in the forming, stamping and corrosion protection markets

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers; Collaborate with district sales managers, distributors and customers, including regular joint sales/service visits to customers with district sales managers and/or distributor sales personnel
  • Increase sales through effective marketing, sales and service of the company's products and proper management of sales activities
  • Maintain constant and complete communication with customers, district sales managers, service technicians, dealers and corporate headquarters, including technical communication with the laboratory, application engineering and marketing (competitive activities, target customer status, customer preferences, trends, etc.)
  • Build deep relationships at all levels to achieve new business goals
  • Show us that you are a real hunter. Continuously communicate, negotiate and close new deals
  • Assists in the overall development of the segment, including target account selection and development, maintaining contact and good relations with associated machine tool builders
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of all fluids and system products sold and serviced by the Corporation

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in chemistry/engineering or a relevant field of study, or alternatively successfully completed technical training and further education

  • You have at least 5 years of practical experience in technical sales and/or industrial sales experience
  • You have a strong sales gene, a constant service mentality and the ability to develop new sales concepts for the respective markets
  • You have very good knowledge of chemistry and good knowledge of metalworking
  • You speak fluent in german and english and can preferably speak another european foreign language
